MinQuest, Inc. was created in 1998 as a privately held natural resource company to acquire and evaluate mineral properties. The company has emphasized precious and base metal properties containing a resource or strong indicators of potential resources. MinQuest currently controls 35 properties, mainly in Nevada and Arizona. MinQuest manages exploration programs on 27 of these properties. The company also currently manages programs on several non-MinQuest properties. This work normally involves a complete geologic appraisal including land status and acquisition, mapping, geochem sampling, geophysics, drilling, and resource estimation. MinQuest was created by Richard Kern and Herb Duerr, both long time exploration geologists associated with several discoveries.

MinQuest has become a full service mineral exploration management company actively working throughout North America. A recent success is its management of Klondex Mines Ltd’s Fire Creek property in central Nevada. MinQuest discovered and is currently defining high-grade gold veining at Fire Creek, which is a Midas style gold deposit currently containing +1,000,000 ounces of gold and still growing.
